DIY Vinyl Holder for Crafters!

Materials Needed to Make a Vinyl Holder

  • 2- 1in. x 1.5 ft. x 1.5 ft. Pine Edge Glued Panel Round Boards from Home Depot
  • 1- 1 x 6 x 6 piece of wood
  • Plastic bag holders (mine are from IKEA, you can also order from Amazon)
  • Optional:
    • Lazy Susan turning mechanism (recommended 16 inch) + base O
    • wheels
  • Optional:
    • stain or paint
  • Screws & Screwdriver

Steps to Make a Vinyl Holder:

  1. Paint or stain all of your wood boards.
  2. If you are using a Lazy Susan here is a great video on how to attach it to your board.

    • I will say that after my project was completed, I realized I did not get the correct size Lazy Susan, so I added wheels to my project. Had I gotten the 16inch Lazy Susan, it would have turned without leaning!
  3. If you are attaching wheels and not a Lazy Susan (finish at the end)
  4. Now attach 2 brackets on each side of the bottom of the 1x6x6. You will have a total of 4 brackets altogether.
  5. Attach the brackets to the middle of one of your round wood pieces.
  6. Next, attach the bag holders to 1 x 6 x 6.
    • Use screws and drill into your boards.
  7. Last, add the top to the your 1 x 6 x 6.
