Sight Word Pictures for the Anchor Charts

After you cut out and laminate the pictures for each poem, you can easily store them in labeled plastic bags.

Tip: Make sure to write the name of the sight word on the back of each picture before laminating. That way if you ever misplace a picture, you will know what sight word poem the picture belongs to.

Sight Word Anchor Chart

When a sight word is introduced into the curriculum, make an anchor chart together. Each student then comes up and has a chance to either read a line or the whole poem! Students LOVE using a pointer stick!

Independent Sight Word Poem Practice

The sight word poems in the product come as a single page or 2 to a page. My students have an interactive journal and after each sight word taught, the students paste the poem in their notebook. The students have to either underline, highlight or circle the sight word in the poem. Students can read their sight word poems anytime they want!

Sight Word Poems Everywhere

Make sure to hang your sight word poems all over your classroom! Students will be able to read them anytime.
